Palworld base automation scorecard

A Palworld base automation scorecard for evaluating worker suitability, task bottlenecks, pathing, storage, and production flow.

Short answer

Slow production usually comes from bad task fit, pathing friction, missing inputs, or scattered storage. Score the base by flow rather than adding more random workers.

Score areaQuestionFix
Worker fitDo Pals match the station tasks?Assign by work suitability, not rarity alone.
InputsAre materials waiting at the right place?Move storage closer to production loops.
PathingDo workers reach tasks without stalling?Simplify layout and remove blocked paths.
Food/restAre workers stopping too often?Improve food and rest support.
OutputIs production aligned with your next goal?Stop producing items you do not need soon.

Checklist

  • Map the production chain from input to output.
  • Identify the one station that waits the most.
  • Check whether workers are stuck or switching tasks poorly.
  • Keep storage near the stations that use it.
  • Retest after patches that affect AI or pathing.

Example

Adding more workers may not help if the bottleneck is one missing input or a station placed where workers fail to reach it.

Common mistakes

  • Using rare Pals for the wrong job.
  • Spreading storage across the base randomly.
  • Fixing output without checking input supply.
  • Ignoring worker pathing after rebuilding.
