Short answer

The best farming route is the one your build can repeat quickly and safely. Before copying a high-end strategy, check entry cost, death risk, clear speed, trade effort, and whether your build can handle the content consistently.

QuestionWhy it mattersTrack
Can I clear it safely?Deaths erase time and momentum.Deaths per run.
What is the entry cost? Some strategies need investment first.Cost before returns.
How long is one loop?Slow loops hide poor profit.Minutes per run.
Can I sell the output?Paper value is not cash flow.Items actually sold.
Does my build fit?Not every build farms every mechanic well.Failed or skipped encounters.

Checklist

  • Choose one repeatable route before changing your whole build.
  • Track ten runs before judging profit.
  • Count deaths, entry cost, and unsold items.
  • Prefer stable farming over risky high-roll claims.
  • Upgrade only the bottleneck that slows the route.

Example

A flashy route that needs expensive setup may be worse than a safer route your build can repeat with low deaths and low trade friction.

Common mistakes

  • Calling a route profitable based on one lucky drop.
  • Ignoring entry cost and failed runs.
  • Copying a strategy from a build with much better clear speed.
  • Counting items at listed value instead of sold value.
