Short answer
A boss attempt should have a short prep loop: confirm defenses, know the dangerous mechanic, plan movement, define damage windows, and review why the previous attempt failed. Do not keep retrying with the same blind setup.
| Step | What to write down | Decision |
|---|---|---|
| Defenses | Resistances, main pool, recovery, mobility. | Fix obvious gaps before spending attempts. |
| Mechanic | The one attack or phase that kills you most. | Practice avoiding that first. |
| Damage window | When you can safely stand still or commit. | Stop attacking during unsafe windows. |
| Gear swap | One small defensive or utility swap to test. | Change one variable at a time. |
| Review | Death cause after each attempt. | Do not guess after repeated failures. |
