Treat every build guide as version-sensitive until it proves otherwise. A good POE2 guide names the patch context, explains leveling separately from endgame, lists required items, and gives budget fallbacks when trade prices move.

If a build says it is a league starter but needs a rare weapon, multiple specific affixes, and a unique jewel before the damage works, treat it as an endgame build with a leveling problem.
